A note from the founder
I spent two decades running Genius Signs & Lighting Corp — a commercial signage fabricator in LA serving contractors, restaurants, and retail. Over those years I walked into a few thousand shops to quote channel letters and monument signs. I'd leave most of them thinking the same thing: this business is losing work to competitors whose only real advantage is a slightly better website.
I'd ask, "do you have a website?" The answer was almost always one of three: "No, we get everything from word of mouth." "My cousin built one in 2017." Or: "Yeah, but the guy who built it ghosted us."
Meanwhile, the national chains that pulled into the same neighborhoods had clean, fast sites that ranked on Google Maps, answered questions in the hero section, and booked calls at 2am.
That's not a design problem. It's a systems problem. Most contractors aren't getting outsold — they're getting out-infrastructured.
Why this studio exists
Agencies charge $5,000+ for a site and make you sit through four meetings to get it. Freelancers are cheaper but disappear mid-project. Template platforms work if you have thirty hours to spare — you don't.
CMMM Studios is the middle option that didn't exist: a productized studio. You pick a package, fill out one form, we build it, you approve it, it goes live. Flat price. No meetings. Full refund if you don't like what we ship.
I use modern tooling — including AI-assisted development — to deliver in days what a traditional agency takes months to produce. The result is the same: a fast, clean, SEO-ready site on your own domain. The difference is the turnaround and the invoice.
Who this is for
Contractors and local service businesses in LA County, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers, general contractors, landscapers, painters, concrete, handyman. If you're booking jobs by phone and your site is a PDF brochure from 2018, we should talk.
If you need a bespoke e-commerce build, an app, or a SaaS marketing site — this isn't for you, and I'll tell you that up front.
