Accessibility statement

The standard we aim at

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA for cmmmstudios.com. We describe this as a target rather than a certification, because a claim of full conformance is only meaningful after testing that we have not completed — see known gaps below.

What we have verified

• Automated testing. Every page is checked with axe-core against the WCAG 2.2 AA rule set, at both a 390px phone width and a 1280px desktop width, as part of our build process. The current result is zero violations.
• Keyboard. Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, focus is always visible, and a skip link jumps past the navigation to the main content.
• Contrast. Text and interface colours are checked against the 4.5:1 (and 3:1 for large text) AA thresholds.
• Without JavaScript. Page content is present in the HTML. If scripts fail to load, the content is still readable — only the forms need JavaScript.
• Reduced motion. With prefers-reduced-motion: reduce set, the fade-in animations are switched off entirely and no content is hidden.
• Structure. Headings are ordered, landmarks are used, images carry alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.

Known gaps

Automated tools catch roughly half of real accessibility problems. We would rather name what is untested than imply it passed:

• We have not completed a full manual screen-reader pass with NVDA, JAWS, or VoiceOver.
• Testing has been done in Chromium-based browsers; we have not tested with assistive technology on physical iOS or Android devices.
• The forms depend on Cloudflare Turnstile, a third-party widget whose accessibility we do not control. If it blocks you, every form offers a plain email address as an alternative.

If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, please tell us — it is the most useful accessibility testing we get. Email hello@cmmmstudios.com with the page and what happened. We aim to respond within two business days and will tell you honestly whether and when we can fix it.
