Genius Signs & Lighting
A 75-page static marketing site for a commercial sign company, with lead capture wired into the same service that runs this site's forms.
geniussignscorp.com, the home page. The photography in it is Genius’s own installed work, and the C-45 licence and insurance line in the header is Genius Signs & Lighting Corp’s own trade credential — theirs, not CMMM Studios’.

Genius Signs & Lighting is the founder’s own company. This is related-business work, not an arm’s-length client engagement, and it is listed here because it is real, live, and the kind of thing you might hire us for — not as a customer reference. It does not stand in for one.
Written by the people who install the signs.
A commercial sign company sells work that is bought locally and researched specifically. Someone does not search for “signs”. They search for a channel letter sign in Torrance, or what a monument sign costs, or whether they need a permit.
A five-page brochure site cannot answer any of those, and a templated city-page generator answers them so badly that it damages trust on arrival.
Building it from inside the business meant the copy could come from the people who actually fabricate and install the signs, rather than from a writer paraphrasing an intake call.
Seventy-five pages that each answer one question.
A hand-built static site, structured around the way the work is actually searched for.

No templates. Every service and service-area page is written rather than generated from a pattern with the city name swapped.

A service-area page, written for one city. Fifteen of these exist and no two are the same page with a name swapped — which is the whole reason the site ranks for the work Genius actually wants.
Why seventy-five written pages.
Static HTML, no CMS. A sign company does not publish daily. Paying for a database, an admin login and a monthly platform bill to serve pages that change a few times a year is a cost with no matching benefit — and it is a security surface nobody is watching. The pages are files; nginx serves them; there is nothing to patch on a Tuesday.
Every service and area page is written, not generated. Twenty-five service pages and fifteen service-area pages, each with its own copy. The template-and-swap-the-city-name approach is faster to build and it reads exactly like what it is.
Lead capture runs on the same service as this site. One shared Node service handles the forms for both businesses: spam checking, storage, notification and auto-reply. Two sites, one thing to maintain.
The photography is the company’s own installed work. No stock imagery of generic storefronts. For a business selling something physical, the proof is a photograph of the thing on a building.

No traffic, ranking, conversion or revenue figures are published here. We have them, they belong to the business, and a number with no independent audit behind it is worth nothing to you as a prospective client.

Most of what makes a site like this work is structure and copy, not visual effects. Tell us what your customers ask before they buy, and we'll tell you what the site needs to be.
